Delete your account
Version 1.4 · 2026-09-26
The website has no accounts at all — you can search every medicine, compare every price and find a Kendra without telling us anything. If you have only ever used this website, there is nothing to delete.
The mobile app can be set to ask for your mobile number before you go in. If you signed in that way, this is how to remove it.
From inside the app
- Open the app and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You are signed out straight away.
By email, if you cannot open the app
Write to brij@savewithjanaushadhi.com from any address, with the mobile number you signed in with. We delete the account within 7 working days and reply to confirm. We may ask you to confirm the number by a one-time code first, so that nobody can delete somebody else’s account by guessing their number.
What is deleted, and when
Your mobile number and the record that you signed in. That is the whole account — the app keeps no order history, no saved medicines and no search history against your number.
Your mobile number is erased in the same moment you confirm, and the sign-in is cancelled with it. There is no undo: we cannot restore a number we no longer hold, so if you want back in afterwards you sign in again as a new person. The empty record left behind — no number, just the fact that an account existed and when it went — is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
One-time codes expire within minutes of being sent, whether or not they were used, and are held by our sign-in provider rather than by us. Copies inside encrypted database backups age out on their own within 14 days.
What we keep, and why
Nothing that identifies you. We do not sell, share or transfer your number to anyone. It is used for one thing: sending the one-time code that signs you in.
