Everything here is price and composition information about medicines sold in India. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription and not a recommendation to take or stop anything. Decisions about your medicines belong to you, your doctor and your pharmacist.

We are not a pharmacy and not the government

We sell nothing, dispense nothing and take no orders. We are not affiliated with the Government of India, the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India, or the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, and we do not act on their behalf.

About the prices

Prices shown are published maximum retail prices drawn from public sources and our own catalogue. They change, and a shop may charge less. We work hard to keep them right and we do not guarantee that every figure is current. Where a Jan Aushadhi product has no published price we say so rather than showing a saving.

About the matches

A match means the compositions we hold agree on every salt and every strength. It is not a clinical judgement that a switch is right for you: formulation, release mechanism and your own history can all matter, and only a pharmacist with the box in hand can weigh them.
